BAROQUE SERIES
This series was inspired by an image of the Painted Hall that I stumbled upon, and have been fixated on ever since. I wanted to take the extravagant composition, vignette, and ethereal feeling from James Thornhill’s painting, and make it my own world. All while maintaining that composition and holy feeling within complete abstraction.
