January Studio Update

Apparently, there are some folks who would like to know more about what’s going on behind the scenes here at Cheeky Art Studio. And I’m not so great at the whole social media constantly posting thing, so I’ve decided that it might be easier to write blog updates to keep you all in the loop :)

 

Lately I’ve been JAZZED about the release of the coloring book & hoodie! So grateful to those who have been keeping me busy packing up orders. 🤗 I have been working on this really fun still-life drawing (inspired by the Italian Baroque artist, Carvaggio). Just a couple minor things to finish up and then prints will be on the way! So exciting!! Personally, I have always thought that it would be fun to have an silly print for the kitchen. 

There are a couple funny drawings I felt compelled to make. Not sure if they are really something I’ll expand on, but they’re fun to me. I was thinking… a visual grocery list? The face of the potato sends me. And it’s very possible that the second egg drawing was inspired by the sudden increase in price for EGGS!
